Twin Tiers Comic-Con Purchase Policy

Page One Entertainment (“Page One”, “we,” “us”) is committed to providing you, our fans, with a means of obtaining tickets in the best and most equitable way possible. We have set up a payment system that we feel is safe, effective, and easy. This Purchase Policy is designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding in how to obtain admission tickets on our website. Your purchases on our website are subject to these terms. Please also review our Privacy Policy for an explanation of what we do with any personal data entered onto our website.

Currency
All ticket prices are stated in U.S. Dollars.

Payment Methods
Our website accepts methods of payment through two different services to accommodate your needs. Credit Card purchases can be made directly on the transaction total page, and they are powered by Stripe. The Stripe service accepts the following credit card types: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. Stripe offers a high standard of security. They have been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and they have been certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1—the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. For more information on Stripe security, see their website at: https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe

Additionally, purchases can also be made through PayPal using the credit card or bank account of your choice.

Pricing and Availability
Ticket prices are set by us and vary from year to year. We set ticket prices based on our costs for hosting the event (e.g. rental fees, marketing costs, guest fees, etc). Our aim is to keep ticket costs as low as we possibly can to both make our fans happy and also to leave you with more money in your pockets to hopefully spend on some great items from our guest artists and vendors at the show! Ticket count will only ever be limited by the venue capacity, at which time we will stop sales immediately.

Tickets are available for purchase in the following ways: on our website, in person if we are selling them at a store or event, and also at the door of the venue during convention hours.

Tickets may also be available for sale at third-party vendors such as comic book stores or other potential partners. These tickets can be purchased in bulk from us and then resold to their customers, at which point we are not responsible for how much is being charged.

Order Confirmation
Orders placed through our website successfully will prompt the transmission of an email verifying your purchase and providing you with a receipt. The ticket itself will not be in this email as it is only to confirm your purchase. Your actual ticket will be emailed to you in a separate email within 48 hours of purchase. If you do not receive an order confirmation number or receipt email after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, please contact us immediately so we can research if your order has been placed successfully. If there is a problem with your transaction it is entirely possible that will may not be notified of the error, so if you have any reason to believe and error occurred, please contact us. We will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.

Periodically we will conduct purchase audits. If we come across anything that could reasonably be believed to be a payment error or unpaid ticket purchases, we may reach out to you to verify whether there is a payment situation that needs to be resolved. If you begin an order and then cancel it, it is entirely possible that we may reach out to you to make sure this was not an error.

Service Fees and Order Processing Fees
Admission tickets purchased on our website are subject to a per ticket service fee. In 2018, we reduced our service fees from previous years that were imposed by our previous venue’s ticket processor. For 2018 ticket prices, service fees are as follows: $1.30 per ticket for one-day passes; $1.95 per ticket for two-day passes; $3.25 per ticket for V.I.P. ticket packages. These fees are used to offset processing costs, ticket creation and e-mailing, and customer service related to ticket purchases. Tickets will be on sale at the venue during the convention. Tickets purchased in person or at the door during the event are not subject to these fees.

Limits on Purchases
We generally do not have any limits on the number of tickets to purchase. However, for the sake of limiting the number of options on the website order form, we have imposed the following per-transaction limits: 10 one-day passes, 10 two-day passes, and 5 VIP packages. You are absolutely allowed to purchase more than these limits, however you would need to do a separate transaction.

Ticket Transfer
Tickets are not transferrable, and we do not offer any means of doing so on our website. Any tickets sold after-market between a private seller and buyer are not the responsibility of Page One entertainment, our events, or our venues.

Refunds, Exchanges, and Upgrades
Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your purchase summary to ensure you are purchasing the correct number and type of tickets. Within 30 days of the event, we generally do not offer refunds for ticket purchases, but we strongly encourage ticketholders to resell their tickets to another potential attendee. By purchasing a ticket from our website or by any in-person fashion, you agree that you will not attempt to evade, avoid, or circumvent any refund restrictions in any way. If you feel you have just cause to deserve a refund for your tickets, please contact Page One Entertainment. We generally accept and respond to inquiries regarding ticket refunds, and we reserve the right to issue you a refund outside of our normal rules and parameters.
Tickets that are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed may be re-sent via email at the purchaser’s request. If you believe your ticket was stolen and it was used to access the event by someone other than you, please let event staff know immediately.

If you have purchased a ticket and would like to receive a new or different ticket by means of an exchange or an “upgrade,” please contact Page One Entertainment prior to the event. For example, you may purchase a one-day ticket and later decide you’d rather have a two-day or VIP pass instead. We can arrange to get you the ticket you prefer and to collect the remaining balance due for that ticket. Please note that once an exchange or upgrade is made, your original ticket will no longer be valid. If presented at the event, it will not be accepted.

If we issue you a ticket refund due to event cancellation, we will issue a refund of the ticket's face value paid and all service fees. If your ticket was purchased from us, in-person, outside of our website, and the event is cancelled, please contact us directly to request a refund. If your ticket was purchased as a resold ticket from another buyer and the event is cancelled, please contact us directly to request a refund. Some refunds may take days or weeks to resolve if we must research and investigate all the concerned parties who paid for the tickets. See our Cancellation Policy section below for more details on this.
If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets originally. We will not be responsible for travel, lodging, or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs due to event cancellation.

We do not offer refunds due to guests cancelling their appearance, changes in event schedules during the weekend, or any other occurrence at our show that is subject to change at without notice. Please keep in mind that guests can postpone or cancel appearances for a variety of reasons which we do not have control over. We do offer refunds for guest specific purchases (e.g. a ticket package that includes a photo or autograph). In this event, we will refund your ticket in full or give a partial refund less the price of a desired ticket if you wish to still attend the event.

Cancellation Policy
Page One Entertainment events are held in any weather and rarely ever cancelled or postponed. The only reason we may ever cancel or postpone an event is if the venue simply cannot hold it. Reasons may include: facility power outage, facility damage, state of emergency, or some other Act of God. Should cancellation occur, we will attempt to contact you regarding our refund procedures. If you have questions regarding an event cancellation, please contact us directly.

If an event is canceled, and you purchased your ticket through our website, we will automatically issue you a refund in the manner of your original purchase (Stripe or PayPal). If a ticket was purchased in any in-person scenario or after-market through another buyer, please contact us for a refund. We will investigate each claim and issue refunds accordingly. Some refunds may take days or weeks to resolve if we must research and investigate all the concerned parties who paid for the tickets.

If you purchased a ticket and then chose to sell it after-market to another buyer, please contact us and let us know the details of the sale. If you request a refund and we later discover you sold your ticket to another buyer and we issued you a refund in error, you will be permanently banned from all our future events. Any tickets purchased through us after a ban is initiated will not be refunded nor honored at our event.

Ticket Delivery
Upon purchase of your ticket(s), you will receive a confirmation email regarding your purchase. The email will include the details of your purchase as well as a reference/order number for your ticket order. This email is NOT considered your ticket for entry. Upon receipt of that initial email, your payment will be in process. Your actual ticket will be emailed to you in Adobe PDF form within 48 hours (2 business days) of purchase. This is to verify successful completion of the purchase. If your purchase was not successful, you will get a notification email that your purchase was not completed, along with directions on how to complete your purchase. You will not receive a ticket for incomplete purchases.

If your ticket is emailed to you and for some reason your purchase is then declined, cancelled, or otherwise ceased, you will receive a third email notifying you that your payment was not completed, and your ticket has been voided and will no longer be accepted at the door on the day of the event. If a cancelled or voided ticket is attempted to use at the door, it will be confiscated, and we reserve the right to deny entry.

Unless other arrangements are made, any ticket purchased by any in-person means will be delivered, in physical form, at the time of purchase. No ticket will be emailed to you. If this ticket is lost, stolen, or damaged, please notify us immediately.

Pricing and Other Errors
If the amount you pay for a ticket on our website is incorrect, regardless of situation, we reserve the right to cancel that ticket or purchase order and refund to you any amount paid. This applies regardless of whether the incorrect pricing is due to any human error, electronic error, or malfunction during your transaction. Please notify us of any situation in which you are charged ticket prices and/or service fees that are different from what is listed on our website.

Limitation of Liability
We pride ourselves in maintaining clean and safe event environments, but we also understand that any sort of accident may occur at any time. By purchasing a ticket to our show, you voluntarily assume all freak risks and danger that could occur during event hours that are beyond our control or prediction, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against us, management, facilities, guests, artists, other participants, and all of our respective owners and employees on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor. Page One Entertainment or our venue representatives reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with any event or facility rules. We also maintain a zero tolerance policy against harassment of all kinds toward our guests, staff, or any other attendees of our events. There will be no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct during the event. You grant permission to us, our guests, staff, and our venue to utilize your name, image, likeness, actions, poses, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event for any purpose. You are responsible for complying with all applicable ticket resale laws in your state or otherwise. We reserve the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone that we determine to be, or has been, in violation of our policies, up to an including a permanent ban from our show in perpetuity. Because we cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any third-party reseller, we recommend that you purchase tickets directly through us to ensure ticket authenticity. Be wary of unknown sellers. If not purchasing directly from us, try to make every attempt to purchase your ticket(s) from a party you know or are familiar with. Our tickets may not be used for any advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes, unless formal written authorization is provided by us.

Updates to Purchase Policy
By purchasing a ticket directly from us through our website or any other means, you are agreeing to abide by the terms of this policy as well as any changes or updates made to this policy between the time of ticket purchase and the start of the event for which you purchase admission.
